Epstein-linked John Does are about to be named publicly
CNN reports: Newly unsealed documents from a lawsuit connected to accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein will begin to be released Wednesday afternoon, by order of a federal judge in New York.
With the exception of two individuals who sought to remain under seal, “the parties have informed the Court that they will begin filing the unsealed records” later today, according to the order from Judge Loretta Preska of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

ABC News reports: A former adviser to Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, along with a former aide to one-time presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson, have admitted to unlawfully lobbying on behalf of Qatar, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.
Barry Bennett and Douglas Watts admitted to lying to the Justice Department about their work running a pair of Washington, D.C.-based advocacy groups that advocated for Qatar's interests, without properly registering as agents for the wealthy Middle East country.

New Times reports: The federal trial involving Trump’s actions after the 2020 election — had been set to begin in Washington on March 4, the day before Super Tuesday. That starting date is on hold while judges hear arguments on whether Trump is immune.
If Trump wins at the appeals court, the federal case against him may unravel. If he loses, he is likely to appeal to the Supreme Court. For Trump, even a drawn-out process that ends in defeat could effectively be a victory.
“The immunity battle, even if Trump loses on the substance of his arguments, could still determine whether the trial will be held before the election in November,” Alan and Maggie Haberman wrote last week in the Trump on Trial newsletter.
(Police officers were called to the homes of the judge overseeing Trump’s election interference case and the special counsel, Jack Smith, after separate false reports of shootings.

The Forgotten Legend: Dr. J Deserves a Place in the G.O.A.T Conversation Introduction:
In the ongoing debate about the greatest basketball player of all time, names like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry dominate the conversation. However, one name that is often overlooked is that of Julius "Dr. J" Irving. It's time to shed light on this forgotten legend and make a strong case for including him in the G.O.A.T conversation. 1. Pioneering Style and Influence: Dr. J revolutionized the game with his unique playing style and unmatched athleticism. His acrobatic dunks and breathtaking moves set the stage for future players to showcase their creativity and finesse. Many NBA superstars, including Michael Jordan, have cited Dr. J as a major influence in their game. 2. Cultural Impact: Long before Michael Jordan became a global icon, Dr. J was already making waves off the court. He had the first viral sneaker deal with Converse, paving the way for the lucrative endorsement deals that players enjoy today. Dr. J's charisma and style transcended basketball, making him a cultural icon and trendsetter. 3. Consistent Dominance: Dr. J's career spanned over a decade, during which he consistently displayed his dominance on the court. He won three championships (one in the ABA and two in the NBA) and was named an All-Star a staggering 16 times. His ability to perform at an elite level for an extended period is a testament to his greatness. 4. Versatility and Skillset: Dr. J possessed a versatile skillset that few players can match. He was an exceptional scorer, averaging over 24 points per game throughout his career. His ability to drive to the basket, shoot from mid-range, and even knock down a three-pointer made him a nightmare for defenders. Additionally, his defensive prowess and rebounding ability added to his all-around game. 5. Impact on the Game: Dr. J's impact extended beyond his playing days. After retiring, he served as a mentor and ambassador for the sport, continuing to inspire future generations. His involvement in the development of the game, both on and off the court, should be recognized and appreciated. Conclusion: While the current G.O.A.T conversation predominantly revolves around players like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry, it is crucial not to overlook the contributions and legacy of Dr. J. His pioneering style, cultural impact, consistent dominance, versatility, and overall impact on the game make a strong case for including him in the G.O.A.T conversation. It's time to recognize Dr. J as the legend he truly is and ensure his rightful place among basketball's greatest of all time.
